Hi! I am Jacie Lemons, the newest intern for The Communications Group. I am a senior at the University of Central Arkansas and will graduate in May with a bachelor's in public relations.
At UCA, I am heavily involved on campus where I serve as vice president of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) and senior class representative for the Student Government Association (SGA). In both organizations, I strive to connect students back to campus and the UCA community while providing growth opportunities for all students.
Originally, I am from the Bryant/Benton area but have called Conway home for over three years. With graduation in a few months, I hope to learn as much as possible during my CGXperience, so I am ready to face the real world! My goal is to have a career in public relations after graduation, but until then, I will continue to work part-time as a barista for a local coffee shop. Working as a barista, I found a new passion for crafting specialty lattes and spending time with my amazing co-workers.
When I am not at school or work, I am typically at the gym or reading a new book. I also enjoy hammocking out by Beaver Fork and spending time with my roommates. This semester, I will be taking a sewing class and learning how to ski in Colorado. I look forward to learning these new skills and the skills I will develop during in my internship.
